Consultative committees

The Curtin Enterprise Agreements establish various committees in which staff are represented by elected members. The Committees include the Management/Staff Consultative Committee (MSCC) and the Implementation and Monitoring Consultative Committee (IMCC).


Management Staff Consultative Committee (MSCC)

The Management/Staff Consultative Committee (MSCC) is established under the Curtin University of Technology General Staff Enterprise Agreement 2009-2012 to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of employment provisions according to the Agreement.

The MSCC will comprise of:
3 management representatives nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; and
3 union respresentatives nominated by the Union(s).

The MSCC is established for the following purposes:
a) Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of the Agreement and make any relevant submissions;
b) Provide a forum for open communication and consultation on:
     i) conditions of employment, including management of change 
        and consultation; and    
     ii) workplace issues arising from this Agreement from time to time; and
     iii) policy changes affecting conditions of employment

Implementation and Monitoring Consultative Committee (IMCC)

The Implementation and Monitoring Consultative Committee (IMCC) is established under the Curtin University of Technology Academic Staff Enterprise Agreement 2009-2012 to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of employment provisions according to the Agreement.

The IMCC will comprise of:
3 management representatives nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; and
3 union respresentatives nominated by the Union(s).

The IMCC is established for the following purposes:
a) Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of the Agreement and make any relevant submissions;
b) Provide a forum for open communication and consultation on:
    i) conditions of employment, including management of change 
       and consultation; and    
    ii) workplace issues arising from this Agreement from time to time; and
